Some good and bad news. The bad news is that you have a few years left before you will be able to apply for a psychologist licensure in Alabama. Step One:
The first step to be taken is to get the ball rolling with regard to higher education. Begin requesting information from schools offering undergraduate programs in psychology.

Step Two:

Once you have your undergraduate or Master's degree you will need to continue on and earn your doctorate degree in psychology, educational psychology or an education degree that specializes in counseling psychology or educational psychology from an accredited college or university.

Step One:
After completing your doctoral programs, you will need to complete your internship. The state of Alabama follows the regulations of the APA for specialization and internships. The Alabama Board recognizes specialization in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and School Psychology. Step Two:
Now you can apply for the exam. The Alabama Board requires a passing score on the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP). In order to receive an application, you need to email your mailing information to the email address listed on the Alabama Psychology Board's homepage. You can also download a practice exam from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Board website in the meantime.
Step Three:
