Once you have your undergraduate or Master's degree you will need to continue on and earn your doctorate degree in psychology, educational psychology or an education degree that specializes in counseling psychology or educational psychology from an accredited college or university.

Step Two:

When choosing a Master's or Doctoral program, you will be narrowing your career focus. Step One:

After finishing at least one year of graduate study, you may begin obtaining one year of supervised work experience. After receiving your degree, you will have no more than 2 years to meet 1000 total hours needed.

Step Three:

After submitting your Idaho psychologist licensure application, it will be evaluated by the Idaho Board of Psychologist Examiners.

Once it is approved, you will be eligible to sit for the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP).
