Step One:
After enrolling in your degree program, you will need to begin learning about supervised work experience requirements. You will need two years or 3000 hours, one of these years, or 1500 hours, can be completed by participating in an approved internship prior to receiving your graduate degree. The remaining hours need to be done after graduation and the applicant can submit a plan to the New Mexico Board of Psychologist Examiners for approval, but is not required.
