I’m a High School Graduate

Step One:

Step Two:
Before applying for licensure, pass the National Counselor Examination and the state administered Jurisprudence Exam. Information about the national exam and registration can be found on the NBCC website.

Step Three:
Now, you can submit an application to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Along with the application, include a practicum documentation form, a supervisory agreement form, any additionally required documents, transcripts sent directly from your educational institution to the Texas Board of Examiners, and required application fees. Also make sure your final exam scores were sent directly to the Texas Board.
